La Gomera - Nature still life

The ephemeral in insignificance

In the deep valleys of La Gomera, profound tranquillity reigns. Occasionally a small bird chirps, tender leaves rustle and a narrow stream whispers and gurgles. The air is so pure that it pains the civilised soul. Time to reflect and contemplate carefully what is surrounding me. Through the fronds of the palm trees, the leaves and the stalks of the reeds, the light falls on the stones and the residues of blossoming life that are hiding in the darkness of the shadow. A inclination towards the beyond, a tendency towards insignificance, I am looking for impressions that correspond to the perceived calm.
