Italy - City

Good taste has a home

The big Italian cities are full of sights. It is difficult to photograph anything that is not already listed in a travel guide. History is omnipresent and nothing seems to happen that is not connected to it. The new does not manage to stand out against the mass of old. The patina is omnipresent, like the Catholic Church, and immediately eats into everything that is new. Compared to German cities, the appearance of Italian cities always has something rotten and desolate, which unsettles us, but at the same time something immortal and timeless, which gives us a feeling of security and beauty.
